No Wonder. It Snows!
Lebanon has probably more snow than any other country in the Arab world, and is the only country in the region to have all four seasons of the year, in equal durations.
Three full months of winter cloak the Lebanese mountain ranges east and west with cotton snow every year, rendering them a captivating portrait of nature. Six heavenly ski resorts in the Cedars, Mzaar Kfardebian, Zaarour, Faqra
Kfardebian, Laqlouq and Qanat Bakiche, cater to visiting skiers and snowboarders at a minimum height of 2000 meters, at a rare proximity from the capital as well as from the country's most beautiful touristic sites.

The Faqra/Mzaar in Kfardebian region, host of the first PDC edition, has been a favorite destination for all sorts of snow activities. Modernly equipped to compete with Europe's best ski stations, this resort with the other five above have helped turn Lebanon into the "white" gate of the region, a country described by visitors as a mountainous marvel to be savored all year round.
The Lebanese peaks that cradle the clouds at altitudes reaching up to 3,083 meters are an emblem of the country, worthy of discovery in the winter as in the summer. Whichever of the four seasons it is, Lebanon has always the season for tourism. It is a complex wonder, this small country, where you can choose to be at the coast in the morning and high up in the mountains in the afternoon. And never is it too cold or too hot for either.
